The car park is also served by an accessible passenger lift (including low level tactile controls, voice and visual floor indication) and a staircase. (A staircase leads from the lobby to the main hall, located on the first floor. The staircase, which has 23 steps, is divided by 2 intermediate landings. The treads are ‘suitable’ for someone with an ambulant disability to use but the step height is ‘steep’. Colour contrasting handrails are available on both sides of the staircase. The stair nosings contrast in colour.)
A secondary access to the main hall, suitable for wheelchair users, is available via a passenger lift in the multi-storey car park, located to the rear of the main entrance. Exit the lift on Level 1.
