Half Term and Easter Courses
Lifesaving lessons
An introduction to lifesaving. This is one hour of aquatic rescue technique in the pool and one hour of lifesaving including rescusitation technique
April 6th - 10th 10.00am -12.00am
Cost: Each course is £20.50 per child
( must be able to swim 50m )
Under fives intensive swimming course
To gain confidence in the water and learn through play

Beginners intensive swimming course
To gain confidence and improve stroke and water skills

Term-time Lessons
We do a range of swimming lessons during term-time in the safe environment of the pool to enhance the development of the correct skills and to produce safe and competent swimmers. All our instructors are fully qualified, experienced swimming teachers, who will encourage and reassure any nervous swimmers. A range of badges are used which test both the skills and stamina of the child.
We also have lessons for children aged 3 to 5 years old, which are delivered in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The classes are kept small in order to assure the best attention of our swimming teacher. The teacher will usually deliver the lessons in the water to help boost confidence with the children.
Due to the popularity and the success of the Swimming Lesson Programme here at Coseley Swimming Pool, a waiting list is often in operation for lessons. Call the centre to check availability.
Juniors aged 5 years plus
- Beginners - Non swimmer to 5m
- Beginner (+) - 5m to 10m
- Improvers - 25m to 100m
- Advanced - 200m plus
Adult Swimming Lessons
Adult lessons are available on Monday evenings at 7.15pm and are ideal for the nervous beginner through to those who would just like advice on how to improve their technique.
