Book a show-a-round; this is were an instructor explains all the types of membership on offer, gives you a fitness assessment ( this will include blood pressure, lung strength, body composition and height and weight) and helps you to fill out membership forms and the Par-Q (medical clearance form). A tour of the centre will follow before we take your picture and join you up and sort out any payments/direct debits etc. This whole process can take up to one hour.
Induction; this is spread over two 1 hour sessions in the first you will cover Cardiovascular equipment and in the second Resistance (weights). All levels set on your induction are recorded and used for your programme. Once you have finished your induction you are able to use the Gym.
Programme Setting; your programme will be set for you by a instructor after a short lifestyle/goals discussion were you explain what you want to achieve. This session usually lasts around 30 minutes. Your programme is then reviewed every 6 weeks.
