The Lifestyles Gym is a new modern fitness suite that has been designed to provide everyone, from the complete beginner to the more experienced athlete, with the ultimate workout environment.

There are many pieces of TechnoGym Cardiovascular and Resistance equipment that will help you to improve aerobic fitness, muscle tone and strength effectively. Each piece is fitted with individual televison screens for your enjoyment while exercising.

Benefits of joining the membership scheme

  • Unlimited use of the Lifestyles Gyms.

  • Unlimited access to fitness classes subject to availability and access pre booking allowed.

  • Unlimited use of the public swimming sessions for the cardholder (subject to availability).

  • Online Leisure Bookings for members.

  • Advance telephone bookings for squash courts etc. can be made up to 7 days in advance at any of the council's Leisure Centres.

Conditions of Use:

  • All users must purchase a Data Key to be able to use the Wellness System. Data Keys are available from reception;

  • An induction fee applies;

  • Your membership number will be required when making a booking;

  • All users must be over 16 to use our equipment.

Pre-Consultation & Initial Induction

To ensure that your time at the Lifestyles Gym as safe and enjoyable as possible an induction is compulsory for everyone. 

The fitness staff will explain correct exercise technique, devise an appropriate training routine, and answer any other questions you may have.

Technogym

Our Lifestyles Gyms have been supplied and fitted with Technogym equipment to create a welcoming environment.

We have a range of eqipment to ensure that we provide you with training adapted to your personal requirements. In addition quiet areas and relaxation spaces help people socialize and contribute to the wellness and comfort of all users.
