Dudley Council Sport & Physical Activity section firmly believe that the safeguarding of children and young people is paramount. One mechanism used to safeguard children and young people in sport and physical activity is the sport and physical activity providers coaches association Seal. Seal is part of sport & physical activity sections Child Protection policy, recognised and endorsed by both the Dudley Safeguarding Children Board and the NSPCC Child Protection in Sport Unit. Seal is also recognised as good practice in safeguarding by the Department of Children, Schools and Families.
What is Seal ?
Seal is the Borough of Dudley Sports Coaches and Physical Activity Providers Association which acts as a quality assurance and safeguarding mechanism for coaches and providers working in the Borough

Seal is co-ordinated by the Sport and Physical Activity Section of Dudley MBC Directorate of the Urban Environment

Seal enhances the delivery of sport and physical activity and ensures standards and safeguards are developed and maintained across sport and the Borough
