Pat’s stats
Borough born and bred
Married with one son, one daughter and new granddaughter
Interests: bellydancing, volunteering with age concern, reading, visiting historic sites, learning about and cooking food from different cultures
Skills: trained complementary and hypnotherapist

Pat says:
“I’m incredibly proud to become the Queen of Culture and hope to encourage everyone, whatever their age or background, to also take a pride in what they do and where they come from.”

“I worked in social care for 17 years and found it fascinating meeting people with different backgrounds and learning about their families and culture.  I’m now volunteering with Age Concern which has taught me that everyone has a story to tell.

“I've always been interested in different cultures and my work as a complimentary therapist has really opened my eyes to the contribution of other cultures and civilisations to our modern way of life.  We have so much to learn from each other and still so much I want to discover.

“I’m always interested in meeting new people and learning more about what culture means to our different communities. If you want me to visit your school, talk to your group or just drop by at one of your events just call 01384 815228.”
