Library Tickets

There are two ways to join the library.  A library card gives you access to books, online resources (including downloadable talking books), music and DVD, as well as use of our public access computers.

You can come into any library and join straightaway without any ID.  You will be able to borrow 3 books and 1 CD/DVD, as well as use the computer.  Your library card will then be posted to your home after which you will gain full membership.  If you do have a form of ID with your address on, or if you have a library card from another authority, you will be able to get a card straightaway, and gain full membership.

You can also join the library online.  There is a downloadable visual guide in the documents below which will help you through the online joining procedure.  When you join online a library card will be posted out to you.
Please note you will not be able to access our online resources until you recieve your card.
