This exciting competition which ran from November 2010 to January 2011, asked young people to write an opening chapter to a ‘Sarah Jane’ adventure story.

A 9 year-old girl from the Glynne Primary (pictured) was the winner of the competition and was presented with a signed photo of the actors from the series.  A member of the Dudley Libraries Children’s and Young Peoples Team was present at this award on 9th February 2011. Two runners-up were 11 year-old girls from Wordsley School and Ridgewood High School, who also received prizes.

This competition was run by Dudley Libraries and Dudley Youth Positive Activities and Citizenship Scheme, funded by West Midlands Police’s Building Blocks Grant.
