Dudley Library are holding a big picture party on Saturday 25th October 11:00 - 12:00, for more information contact the library.
 
New Opening Hours 
 
Dudley Library is now open on Wednesdays to 7pm and on Sundays from 10am to 2pm
 
In total, libraries across the borough will extend their opening hours by 75 hours each week this year.  By the end of 2008/March 2009, opening hours will be extended at Brierley Hill, Stourbridge, Halesowen, Kingswinford, Gornal, Sedgley, Cradley, Long Lane, Coseley, Lye and Netherton. Meet and discuss issues with your local councillor on the first Saturday of the month between 11:30 and 12:30.
 
MP Surgery
The local MP holds a regular surgery in the library on the first Friday of the month between 17:00 and 19:00.
 
 
 
 
Reading Group
Dudley reading group is very popular and meets on the first Wednesday in the month between 12:00 and 13:00.
Local History Talks
The library host an annual programme of local history talks, running from September to April.  For more information on the talks please contact the library.
 
Music Recitals
On most Monday afternoons between 13:00 and 14:00 Dudley Library hosts popular music recitals in it's Meeting Room.  The sessions show case a broad range of tunes and can be an excellent way to spend a Monday lunchtime. For more information please contact the library.

Storytimes and Rattle and Rhyme
A fun way of introducing young children to their local library with sessions being held every week on Wednesdays between 14:00 and 14:45 and again on Thursday between 10:30 and 11:15.
 
Dad's Storytime
Story and craft session held every 4 weeks on Saturday from 11 - 12 for kids and Dad's.
 
Magazines
The library has a range of magazines available aimed at both children and teenagers.
 
Chatterbooks
A reading group for children held on the first Tuesday of the month between 15:45 and 16:45 to read and review books.
 
Computers and Learning
The library has 25 computers for public use with the following facilities:

Computer Clubs and Classes
