New Opening Hours
 
Gornal Library is now open an extra 15 and a half hours each week, including a full day on Thursday plus Wednesday and Saturday afternoons.
 
Libraries across the borough will extend their opening hours by 75 hours each week this year.  By the end of 2008/March 2009, opening hours will be extended at Stourbridge, Dudley, Halesowen, Kingswinford, Sedgley, Cradley, Long Lane, Coseley, Lye and Netherton.

MP Surgery
Meet and discuss issues with your local MP on the first Saturday of the month
Police Surgery
Local Police hold surgeries in the library on Tuesdays, giving residents the opportunity to meet their local 'bobbie' and to raise any concerns that they may have.  For surgery dates please contact the library.
 
 
 
Coffee morning
Join us at Gornal Library every Tuesday 10-11 for coffee and a chat.
Reading Group
Gornal reading group is that popular that they've had to split it into two!
Group one meets on the last Monday in the month between 14:30 and 15:30 whilst the second group meets on the second Tuesday of the month between 14:15 and 15:15.

A fun way of introducing young children to their local library with sessions being held every week on Mondays between 10:00 and 10:45 and Fridays between 10:00 and 10:45.
