Councillors Surgery
Meet and discuss issues with your local councillor on the second Friday of the month between 17:15 and 18:45 in the library's coffee lounge.
Local History Talks
The library hosts a programme of local history talks each year, starting in September and running through to the following April.  For details of talks happening soon contact the library.
Reading Group
Halesowen reading group is very popular and meets once a month on a Tuesday between 16:00 and 17:00(dates may vary please ask for details). 
The Credit Union
Find out more about the financial services offered by the Credit Union who can be found in the IT Suite (5th floor) every Wednesday morning between 10:00 and 13:00

Children and Teenagers
Storytime
Storytimes for children are held every Friday morning at library, 09:30-10:00(term time only)
Rattle & Rhyme
A lively, interactive session aimed at children aged 0 to 4 years old.  Held on Monday and Wednesday mornings between 11:15 -11:45 in the coffee lounge (floor 6).
Chatterbooks
A reading group just for children and teenagers that meet on the second Tuesday in the month between 15:45 and 16:45 to read, discuss and review a range of books.
Saturday Stories for dads and kids
Storytime for dads and their children are held once a month on Saturdays(dates may vary please ask for details)

Computer classes, aimed at beginners and giving people the opportunity to achieve a recognised IT qualification (CLAiT) are held throughout the day on Tuesdays.  All classes are currently fully booked but contact the library for details of how to add your name to the waiting list.
