Long Lane Library is open six days a week. It is open on Thursdays and longer on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
New opening times
Monday: 9.30am to 1pm and 2pm to 7pm
Tuesday, Wednesday: 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 7pm
Thursday, Friday: 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm
Saturday: 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm
In total the library is open for an additional 11.5 hours each week.

Councillors Surgery
Meet and discuss issues with your local councillor on the first Saturday of the month between 10:30 and 12:00
Book Club
Meeting in the library on a monthly basis the book group read, discuss and review a wide range of books. Always on the lookout for new members the group meets on Monday evenings at 18:00. To find out when their next meeting is give the library a call.
Children and Teenagers
Rattle and Rhyme
A fun way of introducing young children to their local library with sessions being held every week on Monday and Tuesdays between 11:00 and 11:30.
Storytime
Storytimes for our younger customers are held on Wednesday afternoons between 14:15 and 14:45
Homework Club
Struggling with homework? Why not pop into Long Lane Library on a Tuesday afternoon between 15:30 and 16:30 and see what we can do to help. (Term time only).
