What can I do?
Join a Reading group. These are friendly and popular groups and new members are always welcome.
Time Travel: Go back in time by attending a Local History Talk
Use a computer: Check your email, or type a document using one of our Public Access PCs or make use of our free wifi service. If you are interested in an ICT taster session why not ask a member of staff.
Talk to your councillor: Find out who your local councillor is and where and when they hold surgeries.
Research Family History: Our staff can help you to find resources to help you. Did you know we provide FREE access to ancestry.com within the library? Sometimes introductory sessions are held in libraries on using ancestry.com. These will always be advertised on our events page.
For Children, Young People and Families
Rattle and Rhyme: A very popular activity during term time every week.
We also run a regular storytime every week.
There are many events and activities for children that happen throughout the year. See the main events page or browse through the children and young people page.
