What can I do?

Join a reading group: Our fun and friendly reading groups are always eager for new people!

  • Every second Tuesday of the month: 5.30pm to 6.30pm

  • Every fourth Thursday of the month: 2pm to 3pm

  • Teenage Reading group: 1st Monday of the month from 3.45pm to 5pm

 

Use the Internet with our public access computers, and also find out about computer classes or via our free wifi hotspot.

  • Computer Taster sessions are held weekly and must be booked in advance. Contact the library in person or by phone.

  • Ancestry tasters are held every Friday but places must be booked in advance.

 

Time Travel: Go back in Time by attending Local History Talks 

For children and families

Why not join Rattle and Rhyme?  These are held weekly during term-term:

  • Thursdays:  9.30am to 10am and 11am to 11.30am

  • Fridays: 11am to 11.30am

We also have:

  • Family Reading group: 3rd Sunday of the month 10.30am to 11.30am
