The main entrance to Dudley Museum and Art Gallery is situated in Priory Street directly opposite the Stone Street Square. There is a short ramp up to the main doors. There is wheelchair access throughout the musuem, this includes the reception and shop area, and all galleries. First floor galleries are accessed via a lift in the shop area. galleries, there is a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
Parking
There are accessible car park spaces to the side of the museum on St James’s Road. Additional parking can be found on the Castle High Carpark in Priory Road..
Assistance Dogs
Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome throughout the Museum. Water bowls for dogs are available, please ask at reception.
Wheelchairs
The Museum has an adult wheelchair which is available for visitors’ use and can be borrowed on the day of the visit by prior arrangement.
Toilets
The accessible toilet is on the ground floor between Galleries andhas baby changing facilities. The Ladies toilet also has baby changing facilities.
Induction Loops
Installation of induction loops within the reception/shop area and Gallery one is planned for 2008.
First Aid
If you require first aid attention, please contact a member of staff. A first aid kit is available at reception.
Refreshments
Please note there is no café at Dudley Museum and Art Gallery. Hot hot drinks sachets can be purchased at reception for the self-service drinks machine.
