Step Pyramid.

This pyramid was one of the first to be built. It is what is known as a Step Pyramid.

The pyramids of ancient Egypt were built 4,500 years ago. They were in their time the tallest buildings in the world. About 90 pyramids are known today. The pyramids of Giza are the biggest at 146 metres high.

Bent Pyramid

This is the "Bent Pyramid". As you can see it is beginning to look like a "True Pyramid".

This is the traditional shaped pyramid.They were the first wonders of the ancient world.
