The entrance to the Glass Museum is through the pavilion, which has a short ramp up to the glass doors. There is wheelchair access throughout the ground floor, which includes the reception and shop area, two temporary galleries, two permanent galleries, rest room and toilets. There is a ramp down to the hot glass studio where the glassblowers work. There are two galleries on the first floor and two galleries on the second floor which can only be accessed via the stairs. Broadfield House is a Grade II listed building in the Regency style and has a central stairwell.
Parking
There is one designated accessible car park space nearest the pavilion entrance. There is a total of 7 car parking spaces in the area outside the pavilion entrance. This area of the car park is easily accessed from Barnett Lane. There are additional car parking spaces at the rear of the Museum, accessed via Compton Drive.
Assistance Dogs
Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome throughout the Museum. Water bowls for dogs are available, please ask at reception.
Wheelchairs
The Museum has an adult wheelchair which is available for visitors’ use and can be borrowed on the day of the visit by asking at reception.
Toilets
The accessible toilet is on the ground floor between the reception area and the rest room. The accessible toilet also has baby changing facilities.
Induction Loops
An induction loop is fitted in Gallery 3 which is occasionally used for events such as lectures run by the Friends of Broadfield House Glass Museum.

If you require first aid attention, please contact a member of staff. A first aid kit is available at reception.
Refreshments
Please note there is no café at Broadfield House Glass Museum. Chilled water is available for free and hot drinks sachets can be purchased at reception for the self-service drinks machine.
