JAM club
We run craft activities during the school holidays. Each site hosts a free treasure trail. Dudley Museum and the Red House Glass Cone run craft sessions which change every holiday and tie in with exhibitions on site. There is a small charge for these sessions to cover the cost of materials. These need to be booked in advance. Full details are in the leaflet below.

Exhibitales
Dudley museums service is running free weekly storytelling sessions at museums and borough libraries for pre-schoolers and their families.
Each session can host up to ten children and their parents or carers. Each story is influenced by its location and ties into at least one exhibition on site. The stories are delivered by a professional storyteller, along with props, puppets and replica artefacts. Children can handle the material, take part in re-enacting the stories themselves and join in a free craft activity. It is suitable for ages two to four.

Advance booking is needed and groups of children including childcare groups are welcome. To book call the venue direct.

Explorer backpacks at Broadfield House Glass Museum
Broadfield House Glass Museum is the first of our museum sites to offer Explorer Backpacks. Each bag contains a different trail around the museum including puzzles, quizzes, drawing and craft activities and games. You can come back again and again and have a different trail each time. It’s suitable for ages four to eleven and there is no need to book.

Sticky Saturdays
Sticky Saturdays is our free Saturday family craft club across Dudley Council’s museum sites.  There are three sessions each month, with each site running an activity one Saturday per month.
Broadfield House Glass Museum opens its doors on the first Saturday of each month, Dudley Museum follows suit on the second Saturday of the month and the Red House Glass Cone continues this by running its sessions on the third Saturday of the month. All sessions run from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. The activity lasts around 30 minutes leaving time to look around the exhibitions and site afterwards.
Dates for each venue are in the JAM club leaflet below.
