The Cone has recently upgraded its meeting/training rooms. They now have an overhead projector, with fixed screen, dvd player and plumbed-in drinks machines. The rooms available are spacious, tastefully furnished with good ventilation and lighting. Hirers can also have access to copying and faxing facilities. Whilst on site there are studios to visit including Sue Delahaye (artist), Charlotte Hughes-Martin (glass artist), The Natural Soapworks (natural cosmetics) and Rebecca Handy (textiles and jewellery) presently moving in. Then there's the resident glass artists demonstrating the magical art of glassmaking everyday except Wednesday. There is no charge to anyone wishing to enjoy the site shops and studios or learn about the history of glassmaking. Free car parking is also available close by. |
