We have three galleries on site. The Showcase Gallery which is in the Visitor Centre, the Courtyard Gallery which uses the outdoor area to display work and the Bridge Gallery which runs into the Cone.
A permanent gallery leads from the Visitor Centre into the Cone showcasing examples of cut glass.
An exhibition showing Roman life and glassware, featuring an archaeological dig and Roman-themed events during school holidays, a programme of activities for schools is available.
Plowden & Thompson: The Magic of Glass Exhibition - 2 February to 29 June 2008
An exhibition of 'Well, I never knew that!' as visitors learn the science and alchemy of this magical material. Does it really all start with sand? The New Dial Glassworks has been making glass since 1788, just down the canal from the Red House Glass Cone. The range of items made over the years is vast, and today the products are at the leading edge of technology and art.

The Cone's resident glass cutter shows his recent designs in the best of contemporary cut glass.
IGC:Next Big Thing - 5 July to 7 September
Glass designed by students from the world renouned International Glass Centre in Brierley Hill. Part of the International Festival of Glass.
Allister Malcolm - 14 June - 10 August
The Broadfield House Glass Museum based artist and local favourite shows his recent designs. Allister runs the Hot Glass Studio at the museum (open to visitors) Wednesday to Sunday.
Love Glass - 9 August to 30 September
Fourth annual exhibition by the Cone's resident artists Ian Bamforth, Vic Bamforth, Malin Blomgren, Ian MacDonald and Caroline Scully, showcasing their recent designs. Part of the International Festival of Glass.
A Crystal Canvas - 18 August to 10 October
An exhibition of international contemporary engraved glass by members of The Guild of Glass Engravers. Working mostly on hand blown glass, the engravers use its mysterious qualities to draw with light, giving a truly magical appearance to their work. The Guild was formed in 1975 by a small group of engravers living in Britain who were keen to establish a professional body for the art form. Today the Guild has an international membership covering both hemispheres. Part of the International Festival of Glass.
Studio 5 Show - 13 September to 2 November
A showcase of work produced by local people and students participating in the Cone's glass education programme.
We Are Here - ACJ Midlands - 18 October to 2 November
A contemporary jewellery, on-foot, selling, touring exhibition travelling across the Midlands. At the opening (18 October) the artists will be wearing displays between 12noon and 3pm. Members will wear transportable display cases inspired by those worn by cinema usherettes of bygone days. Breaking with traditional exhibition space boundaries by making their art more approachable, they aim to raise awareness of contemporary jewellery across the region.
