There is something for everyone at Dudley Museum & Art Gallery. For teachers we have fun, interactive school visits. For art lovers we have frequently changing art exhibitions. The Collections

The most important collection at Dudley Museum is Geology Collection. There are two galleries given over to the collection and the very important place that Dudley occupies in the story of the discovery of the science of Geology in the United Kingdom.

Current exhibitions at Dudley Museum

Dudley Museum & Art Gallery now combines permanent collections of art, geology and fossils with contemporary exhibitions, local interest shows and hands-on exhibitions related to the school curriculum.

Current exhibitions include: Saxons and Vikings, Duncan Edwards and Local Heroes, Return of the Dinosaurs, Fantastic Fossils and Dudley UnEarthed.

Calling all kids...

The Museum is a place to learn and have fun and is a great place to take the family with free admission, free trails and family craft activities.

During 2012, there will be a number of Family Fun Days at the Museum. The JAM Club is for children and their families We host a varied programme of events and activities taking place across all the Museums in the Borough. For further information, see the JAM Club leaflet below.

We have hidden lots of characters from children's stories around the museum. Can you find them and match them to their story?

Drop in Craft Sessions start at 11am, 12noon and 1pm and cost £2.75

Dahl in Dudley: 14 and 15 February
Do you love Roald Dahl stories? Come along and make drafts linked to some of his books.

Running Wild: 16 and 17 February
Let your imagination run wild as you decorate giant animal cut-outs and lots of other wild crafts.
