With many highlights and insights into the lost world of the dinosaurs, this exhibition will take you back in time.
Material on display includes full-scale reconstructions of land living dinosaurs and Jurassic marine reptiles with skeleton and fossil fragments of magnificent creatures from the distant past.
We offer a fun, interactive KS1 'How to be a Dinosaur' session for schools
The exhibition also includes the real fossil of Thecodontosaurus ‘The Bristol Dinosaur’ This is one of the first dinosaurs and much earlier than its more famous descendents.
Thecodontosaurus was the ancestor of the giant dinosaurs of later times although it was only six feet long and its body was not much larger than that of a dog.
Our dinosaur exhibition includes a number of important models such as the lifesize model of ‘Barry’ the Baryonyx whom you will meet on the main stairs of the Museum.
