Car Parking

 

Public parking is available on surrounding streets and a nearby car park. There are 5 designated Blue Badge parking bays available on the street within 10 metres of the main entrance and alternative wheelchair accessible entrance. These cannot be reserved. 
 
Alternative parking is available at Priory Street Car Park which is in excess of 50 metres, approximately 5/10 minutes walk, from the entrance of the building. Whilst this is a Pay and Display car park, parking is free for Blue Badge users. The surface of the car park is tarmac and loose gravel. There are no designated parking bays. Pedestrian crossings are available along the route, including dropped kerbs and tactile warning indicators.

 

Directions By Road

Leave the M5 at junction 2, then at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A4123. At Birchley Island roundabout take the 5th exit onto the A4123. At the Burnt Tree Island roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A461. At Castle Gate Island roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A459. Turn left into Tower Street. turn right into Priory Road then take the next left. Turn right into St james's Road and Dudley Concery hall is on your right.

 

Important information for SatNav Users

 

Although the official post code for Dudley Museum & Art Gallery is DY1 1HU somehow this has not been transferred to the national SatNav database which uses DY1 1HP. But please note there are other buildings in St. James's Road with that same post code, the Museum is located on the junction with Priory Street.

Directions By Bus

There is a bus service from Dudley bus station. For further bus information call 0870 6082608.

Directions By Train

The nearest train stations to the leisure centre are Coseley Rail station, from which you will need to catch the number 126 bus into Dudley, or Tipton Rail station, from which you will need to catch the number 245 into dudley Bus Station.

Access into the Building

The main entrance is accessed via an ‘easy going’ ramp.  The ramp is short, only 2.5 metres long. It has a top landing that is suitable for turning both into and out of the building. A colour contrasting handrail is provided on the outer side of the ramp.
