This is a full, fun and creative day aimed at KS2 students.

Professional education staff lead the morning activities including interactive talk and drama.  Handling and art activity boxes supplement your visit.

What…

Interactive talk.  The Anglo Saxons

How do we learn about the past?  What legacy has been left by the Anglo Saxons?  Students will learn through participation.  They will discuss and examine real and replica objects and try on Saxon clothes.

Drama.  The Viking sagas and myths

A chance for students to help re-enact some of the Viking myths whilst learning more about why the Vikings invaded and settled here. 

Afternoon activities

Teachers can choose from three fun & creative activity boxes each designed to reinforce a different element of the National Curriculum.

Where are the Viking & Saxon days held

Dudley Museum & Art Gallery, in Dudley town centre.  With coach drop off point, lift and disabled toilet facilities, child- friendly gift shop and helpful staff.

How much does it cost

£3.75 per pupil (minimum charge of £45.00) for a WHOLE day visit.

When do they take place

Now until  March 2013
