Broadfield House Glass Museum now offers a new Outreach Service including talks for adult groups and handling sessions for schools. This service is ideal for groups who are unable to visit the Glass Museum or Red House Glass Cone in person, or for groups who would like an introduction to glass and the venues prior to their visit. The Outreach Service is available for daytime and evening talks and can also attend community events at weekends and Bank Holidays.
Sessions cost £35 for up to one hour, £17.50 for additional consecutive hours. If the venue is more than 10 miles away from the Glass Museum, then travel expenses also apply. All of the talks are fully illustrated with PowerPoint slides and are ideal for groups interested in local history or art & design. Staff are fully equipped and the only requirements are access to an electrical socket.
