We like to think of the Cone as a place to learn and have fun. It's a great place to take the family with free admission and parking, baby changing facilities and on-site tea room.

Pre-bookable children's craft activities during school holidays.
We recommend that children are at least 5 years old. Children do need to be accompanied by an adult during these sessions.

FREE numeracy trail available all year round.
Glassblowing demonstrations
Marvel as glass is blown before your very eyes in our hot glass studio (weekends only). The glassblowers are happy to answer any questions visitors have about the process and are able to talk to onlookers through the process if they're not too out of puff!
Sticky Saturday
Come along with your family and have a go at being messy and getting sticky ... and we tidy up!A FREE drop in craft activity on the third Saturday of each month from 1pm to 3.30pm.
Sessions last around half an hour, so there's plenty of opportunity to wander round the site afterwards.
