What is Options+?
 
Options+ is a leisure discount scheme that offers significant savings to residents and non residents on leisure activities across Dudley.
 
 
 
What are the benefits?
 
50% off reservations, compact disc, cassette and video hire – Dudley Libraries
 
50% off Sport Courses, swimming instruction, swimming, badminton, squash/racketball, bowls, table tennis, climbing, fitness suites, fitness classes and spectators on a casual 'no-prior booking' basis – Leisure Centres and Sports Development
 
Himley Bonfire & Under 5's fun day
 
Tickets to selected shows – Halls and Entertainment
 
External concession -  Adult Options+ Members are entitled to concessionary admission to Wolverhampton Speedway on production of their card - A saving of £5. This applies to Elite League Speedway Racing Monday evenings March to October.
 
 

 
Who can apply for Options+
 
  • A registered Jobseeker and in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance
  • In receipt of Working Tax Credit, Income Support, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit
  • In receipt of Incapacity Benefit, Disability Living Allowance, and Carer's Allowance
  • Registered on Dudley's Carer's Network
  • A Blue Badge holder
  • Resident in a Dudley Managed Neighbourhood
  • An Asylum Seeker
  • A Foster family
  • A Child in residential care
  • A Modern Apprentice
  • A full time student

What is a Dudley Managed Neighbourhood
 
These neighbourhoods have been classified as areas of deprivation within the borough. Those applicants whose postcode is in on of these areas will be eligible to Options+.
 
 
 
What is the Carer’s Network?
 
Social Services have a Carers’ Network for carers who provide care and support to a family member or friend who has a long term illness or disability. If you would like any information about the Network or would like a registration form, contact 01384 818723. Those listed on the Carer’s network are eligible to the Options+ scheme.
 
 
 
Can I apply even if I live outside the borough?
 
Yes, for all categories except Child in Residential Care, Managed Neighbourhoods and Carer’s Network
 
 
 
Will my partner/children be eligible?
 
Dependants of the main applicant will be eligible under all categories except for Full Time Students and Modern Apprentices. Dependant children must be under 16.

How do I join?
 
Need to complete an application form. These are available to print off online www.dudley.gov.uk/options or at one of the leisure centres listed below. Take the completed form to one of the leisure centres with a recent utility/proof of address and proof of eligibility. Photos will be taken at site and all applicants/dependants must be present.

Is there a cost to join?
 
Yes, there is a £2.00 charge to join for adults, however under 16’s are free.
 
 
How long does the membership last?
 
The membership last 12 months, after which customers will need to renew.

 
Can I use my membership straight away?
 
If this is your first application you will have to wait until your smart card arrives through the post. This may take up to 14 days following your application.
