Dudley Council own a total of 38 allotments sites at various locations within the borough. There are 32 sites that are managed by allotment associations and 2 which are managed by the Council. Four other sites are currently redundant.

What is an Allotment?
The average allotment is a plot of land comprising of 300sq yards (or 253sq.m.). On your allotment plot you can grow fruit and vegetables or flowers.
 
How much does it cost to rent an allotment plot?
Council managed plots are rented out at £6.80 per 50m2 per annum. Where an allotment site is managed by an association, the rent is determined by the association. A returnable deposit may be requested if a key to the site is required. 
 
What Do I Do Now?
Contact us, as per the details below, to determine if a plot is available at a council managed site or for the contact details of association run sites. Some sites are in particular demand and a waiting list may exist, if this is the case you will be added to the list and contacted when a plot becomes available. If a plot on a Council managed site is available an Allotments Officer will meet you at the site for you to view the vacant plot.
 
Once you have selected a plot you must sign a tenancy agreement before your possession of the plot can be granted.
 
Sheds and Greenhouses
If you wish to erect a shed or greenhouse you must seek permission from the Parks Development Team, as per the contact details below.
