Himley Hall is an eighteenth century Grade II* listed building set in 180 acres of 'Capability Brown' landscaped parkland. As the former stately home of the Earls of Dudley Himley Hall was a luxurious, up-to-date home, so fashionable that in the 1930's it was a regular weekend retreat for Royal visitors, including Edward, Prince of Wales. In 1934 the Duke and Duchess of Kent spent the first two weeks of their honeymoon at Himley.

Today, couples may marry where Royal newlyweds once took their honeymoon, and photograph their special day in the grounds where princes and earls once strolled.

Our aim is to make your day special and memorable. Our wedding co-ordinator and catering manager are on hand to guide you through all of your wedding preparations as well as on your special day itself. Your wedding day at Himley is tailor-made to suit you. Whether it is guidance in the timing of your civil ceremony, helping make your choice of music or perhaps adding those special touches such as champagne on the terrace, experienced staff are always there to help.

We ensure the smooth-running of the day by liaising with registrars, photographers and florists. Experienced reception staff offer a warm welcome to your guests as they arrive, ensuring appropriate private parking of vehicles and seating of guests.

Himley Hall has two rooms licensed for civil wedding ceremonies.

The Pink Room
Overlooking the terrace gardens and with views towards the Great Lake, the Pink Room was once the Library of Himley Hall. It is suitable for wedding parties of up to 45 people and has the added advantage of private access onto the terrace for photographs or refreshments.

The Green Room
Originally the formal Dining Room of the Earls of Dudley, the elegant Green Room, complete with historic chandelier, is suitable for up to 75 guests. Similarly the Green Room overlooks the terrace gardens with stunning views towards the lake.

Your Stay at Himley Hall
Our wedding fee covers a two hour period. It is advised that your guests arrive 30 minutes before your ceremony thus allowing a further 90 minutes for both the civil marriage and photographs.

During your stay the Hall courtyard is reserved solely for the use of you and your guests. In the Spring and Summer months Himley Hall is open to the public for exhibition viewing, however every step is taken to ensure your privacy.

Wedding Receptions
Wedding receptions may be held in most of Himley Hall's refurbished rooms including, in addition to the marriage rooms, the newly refurbished Oak Room - a delightful wood-panelled room overlooking the courtyard, and the Peach Rooms (available during autumn and winter.

Himley Hall's policy of only one wedding reception each day ensures that your wedding celebration is private and personal to you. Suggested seating plans are also available to help you organise your reception, down to the smallest detail.

Himley Hall offers a superb choice of wedding breakfast menus from fully inclusive three course dinner packages to high quality buffet receptions. In addition we are quite happy to quote for alternative menu preferences. The Hall Catering Manager will guide you through your catering choices and seating plan and if desired assist in ensuring co-ordination with your choice of colours for table settings and themes. Special diets are catered for. Himley believes that personal contact in preparing for your special day is paramount, both our wedding co-ordinator and catering manager are available for an informal chat, attending to all the fine details which make your wedding day YOURS.

Accessibility
The ground floor refurbished suite at Himley Hall is fully accessible to disabled persons. Hall courtyard car parking may be reserved for guests requiring nearby access.
