The park is positioned between North Lane and Seagers Lane in Brierley Hill. This gives the park an elevated position over looking the surroundings areas to the west. Entrance to the park, off North lane is via a steep managed concrete pathway. Other road based access are positioned at road level.
The park has a managed pathway running through it with a few resting benches. There is a large area of open grass, along with smaller shaded and un-shaded areas perfect for picnics and leisure activities. The park hosts an area of un-kept dirt/tarmac that could be used for small boundary games.
The park has recently had a range of improvements through Liveability funding, which include new benches and bins, resurfacing of pathways and a community garden area surrounded by sensory shrubs and perennial plants.
This Park has an active Friends Group,
Friends of Marsh Park. The group was established when members of the local community volunteered to start discussions on ways of improving and regenerating the park to its full potential and encourage increased public use.
