The Parks in the Borough

The Boroughs five staffed Parks
The Boroughs five staffed Parks are:

The Parks are open everyday with free access, in most cases there are car -parking facilities. They also offer a range of recreational facilities.

Staff are on site from 10.45am until dusk every day of the week (staffing resources permitting), and the Park Keepers take payments for sports facilities as appropriate. A list of charges is attached.
From May 2001 it is unlawful to let dog faeces remain on the ground at the five Parks listed. There are plenty of dog bins around the sites for depositing the waste safely. The Council hopes this will make our Parks a more pleasant environment for everyone.

Finally, there are many other Parks within Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council.

There is probably one within walking distance of your home.

Most Parks have some facilities such as; tennis courts, basketball courts, bowling greens or playgrounds.  Or they could be just places to sit and watch the world go by.

There are two further important Parks within the responsibility of Dudley Council.  These are Himley Hall and Park and Leasowes Park if you want to know more about these Parks follow the links.
