The park has large areas of open flat grass, ideal for team games. Two of these large areas are utilised as football pitches, by a variety of teams over the relevant season.

Large open grass areas, along with smaller shaded and un-shaded areas perfect for picnics and leisure activities. The park hosts a selection of pathways, making walking and running an optimal choice, for a selection of individuals within the community. This park is part of a project that provides parks activities, follow the link to find more information.

Friends of Netherton Park

 
This Park has an active Friends Group, Friends of Netherton Park. The group was established when members of the local community volunteered to start discussions on ways of improving and regenerating the park to its full potential and encourage increased public use. The group are always recruiting new members, to assist with future plans and events. If you are interested, please contact the Liveability Team for more details.
