History
Sedgley Hall Farm Park in Dudley is unique in character to the boroughs other parks. It is situated upon the urban fringe and was once farmland-hence the name. The park includes ‘wilder’ areas, streams and ponds.
Description
The park is 7ha and is located close to the Shropshire borders. From the top of the park, it displays some extensive spectacular views for miles into the Shropshire countryside. The diverse landscape terrain, make’s this area ideal for cross country physical activities, such as running and orienteering.
The park has a sweeping landscape, with areas of wild land, streams and ponds. All paths have been up graded to tarmac, but are steep in paces and follow the site’s hilly contours. The park offers a selection of managed pathways, making walking an optimal choice, for some individuals within the community.
