Dudley Museum and Art Gallery possesses an interesting collection of 19th and 20th century oil paintings, drawings and watercolours. The Museum is also home to the Brooke Robinson Collection - a Victorian gentleman's collection of paintings, furniture and Greek and Roman pottery. UnEarthed 'UnEarthed' is a geological gallery. It highlights the role of Dudley's world famous geology. In the gallery you can see how rocks are formed, be dazzled by the crystals and marvel at the diversity of our fossils. The gallery includes a range of directed educational activities for schools and holiday activities for visitors of all ages. Duncan Edwards The new Duncan Edwards & Local Sporting Heroes Gallery currently hosts an exhibition football memorabilia of Dudley's most famous footballer - Duncan Edwards. Return of the Dinosaurs Until September 2009 Discover the story of the dinosaurs, with giant dinosaur skeletons, small fossils and life size models. There's a free trail and children's activities as well as a huge projection screen and a changing range of items as new loans are made to the museum. Family Fun Days / JAM (Juniors at Museums) During 2009, there will be a number of Family Fun Days at the Museum. Also, the JAM Club returns for young people (4yrs+) and parents.
