Dudley Borough is made up of four main town centres, Dudley, Brierley Hill, Halesowen and Stourbridge. Each town centre has its own individual character and charm.
Dudley Town Centre
There's a wealth of fascinating history to discover in Dudley… all set alongside some of the most up-to-date business and entertainment facilities in the region. If you haven't visited the town for a few years, you'll immediately see plenty of change, from the many works of art that line the recently-opened Dudley Southern Bypass, to several new hotels, sports clubs and visitor attractions.
Situated at the heart of Dudley Borough, Brierley Hill has plenty to offer from wallet-busting shopping opportunities to a relaxing canalside dining experience. Brierley Hill is home to the famous Merry Hill Centre, bringing all the big name stores under one roof for an unbeatable day's shopping. Add this to the town's bustling High Street and three indoor markets and you can see the appeal Brierley Hill holds for the serious shopaholic!
Halesowen stands on the border of the Black Country and Birmingham, and is exceptionally convenient for both. Dating from Saxon times, it features everything you would expect in a small to medium sized town whilst retaining the character and feel of the village it once was.
Stourbridge, on the Borough's south-west fringe, has long been a centre of creativity. Home to the world's finest glass designers and makers since the seventeenth century, today Stourbridge still boasts the highest concentration of artists in Dudley Borough.
