Young People's Organised Activities

Through a variety of youth clubs, youth centres, specialist projects, and adventure playgrounds, many run in partnership with local voluntary organisations, we offer children and young people the chance to meet people of their own age in safe surroundings, to learn new skills, to plan and run activities for themselves, to take part in arts, drama, computing, music, sports and social activities' and simply to relax and have fun.

Holiday Coaching Courses - SportsZone
Dudley MBC offer sporting activities based at Crystal Leisure Centre for children aged between 5 and 16 years of age with varying disabilities. Sportzone takes place during every school holiday throughout the year.
 
Kids Zone - The JAM Club
JAM Club is a programme of activities especially for Juniors at Museums. Workshops and other fun events are organised for children during the school holidays and are based at the three museums run by Dudley Council.
 
Youth Work
Youth work is about working with young people to give them the support, advice and information in the transitionary years between childhood and adulthood. Dudley Youth Service works with young people aged between 13 and 19 years. The aim is to ensure that the young people of Dudley have access to a quality youth service that provides youth centres, detached youth work, specialist projects and fun activities.
 
Play Facilities
The Council currently has 52 playgrounds throughout the borough. Most play areas are dog proof, accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs and provide for children up to 11 years.
 
The Prince's Trust
All of The Princes Trust activities have one overall purpose: to reach young people in the UK who face more barriers than most, and help them get past those barriers so they can get their lives working and make a positive contribution to society.
 
Youth Centres
Youth Centres across the borough provide young people aged 13-19 years with a wide range of opportunities and experiences throughout youth centres, mobile provision, detached work and schools.
Giving Young People A Voice
Dudley Youth Service will continue to support young people by providing a range of accredited training and development opportunities to enable young people to actively participate in policy and decision-making and service development.
