Weather Watch

weatherwatch dudley media

Dudley Council works hard to ensure its services continue to run during the winter period. However, some services will be affected by the severe weather.

Councillor Karen Shakespeare, cabinet member for environmental services, said: “At this time of year we are constantly monitoring the weather and our staff have vast experience in dealing with all types of winter conditions. We have 3,500 tonnes of grit and a fleet of eight gritters, to bolster a network of hundreds of grit bins across the borough if the weather takes a turn for the worst.”

With cold weather continuing if you're concerned about someone sleeping rough contact Dudley Council Plus om 0300 555 2345 or dudleycouncilplus@dudley.gov.uk and we’ll help. More details here
