Community forum online

Councillor Pete Lowe, leader of Dudley Council

Community forums are a very important way for us to communicate and engage with people across the borough.

Ahead of each round of forums, we hold an online questions and answers session with the Leader of the Council, via our Dudley Borough Facebook page.

As part of our commitment to continually improve the way we work with our communities, people can have their say on this quick survey on our online forum.

You can still fill it in even if you haven't taken part in the online forums - every view counts!

In response to a question posed on twitter on 27 Jan 2016 while on his 'On the buses big question tour'

Cllr Pete Lowe, leader of the council said:

Hiya Simon

Sending it via this format as 140 characters via twitter is never sufficient.

The proposed council tax rise falls into a 2% increase specifically for adult social care and a 2% increase in council tax to help protect council services following the largest cut in revenue support grant from the government in history.

As you know I am on the buses at the moment but if I can be of any further assistance please feel free to email me at Cllr.Peter.Lowe@dudleymbc.org.uk and I will answer directly or refer onto a fellow cabinet member.

Many thanks for taking the time to contact me and can I also remind you to fill in the big question questionnaire as all feedback is important.
