School's out for Easter

There are lots of activities on offer in our parks, leisure centres, visitor attractions, libraries and nature reserves this Easter.

Visitor attractions

The Red House Glass Cone has many activities taking place during the Easter break.

Saturday 1 April - Easter jars from 11.30am. Cost £2.50 each and suitable for families aged 4+.

Tuesday 11 April Glass Easter bunnies and Wednesday 19 April - glass dragons from 10.30am. Cost £4.50 each and suitable for families aged 4+ and must be booked in advance

Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 April - Easter hunts from 10.30am, £2.50 per child and must be booked in advance

Let's get active outdoors - parks, reserves and green spaces

Children and families can have fun in the great outdoors this half term

Mary Stevens Park has activities such as a Teddy Bears picnic on Wednesday 12 April, 11am - 3pm; Bluebell planting on Friday 14 April 10am - 12noon; Easter Treasure Trail on Saturday 15 April 10am - 4pm (suggested £1 donation); Scavenger Hunt on Tuesday 18 April 11am - 12noon (suggested £1 donation) and Egg and spoon race and egg rolling on Thursday 20 April, 11am - 12pm

Priory Park has events including pondipping on Monday 12 April, multi-sports on 11, 12, 18  and 20 April, easter crafts on 13 April, easter bonnet activities on  19 April and an easter parade on 20 April.

Leisure centres

Children of all ages can take part in fun and games at borough leisure centres during the. The Dudley

Town centre activities

Families can enjoy an Easter egg trail and quiz in Netherton this Easter.

Quiz runs 8 - 23 April, trail forms can be picked up at Netherthon Library or downloaded from Discover Dudley

Sycamore Adventure

Sycamore Adventure, Dudley council's amazing adventure playground is open for all children in Dudley borough and can be hired for parties and conferences etc. It offers a wide range of play structures, play equipment, sensory room and café.

Children of all ages are welcome and there are a range of sessions for families and for those with additional needs.

There are two exhibitions at Himley Hall and there's time to register for the 37th annual borough trail
