January 28, 2015
Councillor Khurshid Ahmed, cabinet member for transportation, said: "Our gritters will be out tonight as we’re expecting a cold snap, but motorists still need to drive carefully. Also, we would ask people to park considerately along side roads to allow gritters to get along them. Our gritting team, based at the council's Lister Road depot, will be on hand to work around the clock to keep almost 300 miles of road clear during any severe weather. We have also made sure our network of 1,000 grit bins across the borough are well stocked for people to use. For more information on gritting visit our Weather Watch page via www.dudley.gov.uk"
Email your postcode to email@example.com to sign up to our free e-bulletin which will keep you informed of school closures, changes to bins and other weather related service changes.
