Council ready for snow

February 17 2016

Councillor Hilary Bills, cabinet member for environmental services, said: “Our crews will be out tonight to help keep almost 300 miles of roads clear for people to drive on. We will also be monitoring the weather around the clock and responding accordingly. People can keep up to date with all the weather related services, and check our gritting routes and other useful information, by visiting our Weather Watch page at www.dudley.gov.uk

“As part of our pledge to be a community council we are keeping people informed and up to date is an essential part of our work during the winter. The more information people have on things like roads and gritting, the better they can plan their journeys on the roads and their days over the winter period.”
