26 - Bumps, babies and beyond at Dudley Library

Parents to be can take advantage of a new pre-natal course at Dudley Library.

The free four week course gives participants the confidence to use reading, music and singing activities to communicate with their bump or new baby. The course also promotes reading for families, children and adults and highlights the wider benefits of library membership.

The programme covers the importance of communicating with your bump, staying healthy and stress free during pregnancy and finding out what to expect from the first 48 hours of motherhood. The programme starts on Friday 12 May and runs each Friday from 10.30am – 12.30pm until Friday 2June.

The programme is funded by The Association of Senior Children’s and Education Librarians (ASCEL) as one of three national pilots to be used as case studies for the roll out of the offer nationally.

Places are limited so early booking is advised. To book a place contact Donna on 01384 812955 or email libraries@dudley.gov.uk
