Curry night promotion

The Mayor of Dudley will be hosting a curry night next month to raise funds for his nominated charities.

Aashiq’s restaurant in Kent Street, Dudley, has agreed to host the event starting at 7.30pm on Tuesday 7 March.

Tickets cost £20 for an Indian feast (Dawat) plus entertainment during the evening. They are available in advance by calling Sue on 07412 531924 or calling in person to Aashiq’s (on the site of the former Green Dragon pub).

Councillor Mohammed Hanif, Mayor of Dudley, said:

“I really hope that people will come along on the 7th and enjoy a fabulous feast which will, in turn, help me to support three worthy organisations.”

All profits from the night will be donated to the Mayor of Dudley’s charities, which are Friends of Alfie Johnson, Dudley CIL and Diabetes UK Dudley branch.
