Maps can now be printed at libraries in Dudley borough.
Dudley Council has introduced the new service to make it easier and more convenient for people to produce the correct documentation when it comes to submitting planning applications.
It launches this week and will be available during regular opening hours at Dudley Library, Halesowen Library, Stourbridge Library and The Archives Local History Centre.
Prices start at just £9 for A4 or £20 for A3, which includes six printed copies of the map. It can also be emailed and printed off at home. If more than six copies are required, they can be purchased at a much reduced rate. Larger sizes – A2 and A1 – are also available from £25 and £40 respectively for single prints.
Councillor Rachel Harris, cabinet member responsible for libraries at Dudley Council, said:
“This is a new service being offered by libraries, which will provide people with a convenient way of obtaining printed maps, in particular for planning applications.
“It is part of our continued drive to adapt the services we offer at our libraries in the borough in response to public demand.”
To take advantage of the service, just ask a member of staff at one of the libraries.
