Dudley’s Priory Park is hosting a range of activities for families this Easter.
Things kick off with a pond dipping session on Monday 10 April from 2 – 3.30pm. For a suggested donation of £1 per child, youngsters can meet at Priory Park pond and discover the minibeasts lurking there.
There are multi-sports sessions on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 April from 2 – 4pm, a chance to burn off some Easter energy and have some fun. Multi-sports return again on Tuesday 18 and Thursday 20 April, this time from 10.30am – 12.30.
On Thursday 13 April from 2 – 4pm, there’s an Easter craft activity where families can decorate their own Easter eggcup, Easter card and spring animals to take home. There’s a £1 suggested donation per child.
On Tuesday 18 April at 1.30 there’s a chance to join in an Easter treasure hunt, run by friends of the park. Contestants can find clues and plastic eggs and win a prize.
There’s an Easter bonnet making activity on Wednesday 19 April from 2 – 4pm. Participants can decorate and make their own Easter bonnet for the Easter bonnet parade. Suggested £1 donation per child.
The week rounds off with an Easter bonnet parade at 1.30pm on Thursday 20 April. The friends of the park are running the event for youngsters to show off their stunning handmade bonnets.
There are no bookings for any of the events, participation is on a first come, first served basis. During busy times, families are advised to come back in half an hour. More information is available on the Priory Park facebook page
