Something old, something new

Blushing brides are reminded that they can find the dress of their dreams at a unique bridal boutique in Stourbridge.

Dudley Council’s registrars moved its ‘I do 2’ wedding dress collection to a new bridal boutique based in the recently refurbished Thomas Robinson Building (former Lye and Wollescote Chapels) last year and it has gone from strength to strength.

The boutique is located in the building’s basement and has more than 80 bridal gowns on display, ranging in price from £50 to £250.

Many of the gowns are pre-loved but brand new dresses are available too and the majority of the dresses are sold on behalf of and to raise funds for Mary Stevens Hospice.

Councillor John Martin, cabinet member for corporate transformation and performance, said:

“There is something to sort all tastes and budgets at our ‘I do 2’ collection at the Thomas Robinson Building. I would urge brides to book an appointment and find the dress of their dreams.”

The boutique is open Monday to Saturday 9 am to 4pm but brides are advised to book an appointment in advance by emailing marriage.enquiry@dudley.gov.uk or calling 01384 818349.
