Transform a child's life by fostering for Dudley

People interested in fostering are being encouraged to visit the council's dedicated website to take the first step in transforming a child's life.

Dudley Council's fostering service is encouraging people to take the first step in to fostering, by visiting the new website in order to have any initial queries answered.

Fostering for Dudley promises 24/7 support and guidance, as well as the opportunity to make a difference to the life of a child in care. Fostering in Dudley gives people a chance to find out answers to questions they may have and hear from existing foster carers about what it's really like to foster.

Councillor Anne Millward, cabinet member for Children's Services, said the following:

"We're always looking for new foster carers from all different backgrounds. Fostering is one of the best jobs in the world; no other job allows you to make such a difference in a child's life.

"Find out more information and visit our dedicated website www.fosteringindudley.org.uk and see why fostering in Dudley is life changing."

The service is keen to hear from anyone interested in fostering but in particular from those who would like to care for teenagers, children with disabilities or those who could take more than one child so siblings can stay together. They would also like to hear from people interested in long term fostering.
