TV comic Joe Lycett is to perform at Dudley Town Hall as part of a big nationwide tour next year, it has been revealed.

The popular Brummie, who has appeared on the likes of Live At The Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and QI, is taking his new show – I’m About To Lose Control And I Think Joe Lycett – on the road in 2018.

He will be in Dudley on September 7 next year as part of the 50-date tour, with tickets due to go on sale on Friday from 10am. They are expected to be snapped up quickly.

"We're absolutely delighted that the wonderful Joe Lycett will be bringing his hotly-anticipated new show to Dudley Town Hall.

"I've been a huge fan of Joe ever since I first saw him perform back in 2011, and it's been great to see him rise to become one of the UK's best-loved comedians.

"We can't wait to welcome Joe to Dudley for what promises to be a memorable evening in the company of a fantastically funny stand-up."

Tickets cost £20 plus booking fees. Doors will open at 7.15pm, with the show starting at 8pm.

Lycett is the latest big name comic to sign up to perform at Dudley Town Hall. Milton Jones is there on September 29, Paul Chowdhry on October 12 and February 23 next year, Katherine Ryan on October 14, Lee Nelson on December 1, and Jethro on December 7.

In 2018, David Baddiel will be in Dudley on April 19, and Jason Manford on April 27 and October 3.

At Stourbridge Town Hall, Gary Delaney will perform on September 16, and Matt Forde on October 27.
