People can now report issues and request information from Dudley Council for free from the comfort of their living room.
The council is proud to offer a Digi TV service to borough residents allowing them to contact the council through their TV screen. It has proved hugely successful with thousands of hits on the site each week.
The system allows people with a digital television package (Virgin Media*) or with Nintendo Wii games consoles or internet enabled mobile phones, to access services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

DON'T FORGET: from 1 September 2016 you need to be covered by a TV Licence to watch or record live TV programmes on any channel, or download or watch BBC programmes on iPlayer.
This could be on any device, including a TV, desktop computer, laptop, mobile phone, tablet, games console, digital box or DVD/VHS recorder. If you do any of the above without a valid licence, you risk prosecution and a maximum penalty of up to £1,000, plus any legal costs and/or compensation you may be ordered to pay. You will also still have to buy a TV Licence if you need one.

People can report litter, criminal damage, bin collections, council housing repairs, street light problems and much more through the new system.
And residents can also find out more about the council’s service by requesting benefits leaflets, recycling services, vote forms along with direct debit, blue badge, school admissions and housing register application forms.
The Dudley Digi TV site also includes latest news and information on the council’s services in relation to care and caring, jobs and careers, home and housing, leisure and culture, transport and streets, rubbish and recycling, education and learning and community safety.
On top of this you can find out bus and train times, search for jobs and make appointments to visit your GP.
