Area committee funding for community groups
A total of £240,000 has been made available for community projects across Dudley borough from April.
Dudley Council has announced £240,000 in area committee allocations for 2012/13. And council bosses have changed the rules around the funding to make the money available for a wider range of uses.

Small Grants to Voluntary Organisations
Voluntary groups across the Dudley borough which provide support and social activities for adults in the community are being urged to apply for funding.

Council tenants can keep up-to-date
The council has launched a new service to help keep council tenants up-to-date with what’s happening on their estate.
Tenants can now sign up to receive text or e-mail alerts with information about meetings and other activities organised by their local tenant and residents association.

Donate a compost bin
To promote Compost Awareness Week, which runs from Sunday 6 May, Dudley Council is asking residents who have unwanted compost bins to donate them.
Emptied bins will need to be placed at the front of the house for collection. The donated bins will then be collected by the council for free, and will be re-housed with residents who have requested one.
