We are on the look out for the energy heroes of 2011.
Energy Heroes is aimed at everyone in the borough and recognises the achievements of local projects which are making a positive contribution to reducing energy use.
Categories
There are two categories of award, a community category which includes households, schools, voluntary and community groups and a business category which is open to all private sector businesses and not for profit organisations.
Judging Criteria
Judges will be looking for projects that have reduced energy in the last 12 months. Demonstration projects are also welcome.

How to enter
To enter, fill in the nomination form online or download a copy below. The closing date is 22 May.
Everyone submitting a nomination will receive an acknowledgement, with more details to follow in the summer.
Shortlisting
Shortlisting will take place in late May, followed by site visits. The judge’s decisions will be announced at a celebration event scheduled for late June 2011, where awards will be presented.
Energy Heroes is organised by the Dudley Climate Change Group and is supported by Boss Design, George Green Limited, Renewable Energy Group Biopower and Ian Higgs and Sons Solicitors, Dudley Council and Dudley Community Partnership.
